Is this your first time at NRGY Wellness? This is the appointment for you. In this appointment you will establish care through an in-depth intake, assessment and treatment plan. Acupuncture appointments are primarily focused on acupuncture protocols but they can include traditional fire cupping, herbal prescription discussions, sobadas/body work, breathwork, moxibustion or Yoga nidra meditation, etc.

Do you take insurance? 

No, we are not in network with any insurance provider. We do take HSA, FSA and similar health savings accounts. We can also provide you with a Superbill for you to submit a claim through your insurance, but you would want to contact your insurance prior to know your benefits coverage.

How should I prepare for my first appointment? 

It is important you complete your intake forms prior to your appointment to give us time to prepare your chart. You should also make sure you are hydrated and have eaten something before. Some people report more needle sensitivity or lightheadedness when they are dehydrated or haven't eaten. No alcohol or hallucinogens before your appointment so as to not interfere with the benefits of the treatment. Most of our patients are comfortable getting undressed like for a massage

Can i bring someone with me to the appointment? 

While your guest is welcome, we do ask that you let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate them ahead of time. It is recommended, however, that you come on your own so you are not distracted during your appointment. 

I want to come with my spouse/mom/sister/friend/daughter/etc. can we schedule at the same time? 

Yes, we do love treating couples and families. Please email us with your request and we can accommodate your party ahead of time. 

Do you only treat fertility and women's health? No, however that is our primary focus. We also specialize in: adolescent health; sports injuries specifically runner injuries ; cosmetic acupuncture and male fertility for your partner only if you are also a patient. 

I tried calling to book an appointment, and received a text that you do not book over the phone, how do it book? For your privacy, we do not book appointments over the phone. We have a secure patient portal where you can book your appointments with ease. https://nrgywellness.clientsecure.me/

Do you offer quick phone consultations? No, please book a virtual or in person appointment via our patient portal. https://nrgywellness.clientsecure.me/

What is sliding scale and where is it available? This is an appointment option that I offer the first week of the month at my Escondido office to allow for more accessibility. It is $80-$100 for a returning patient appointment originally $125. These appointments are limited to accessibility and often book out, so please book ahead. These appointments are only at my Escondido office because this is my home office and I can expand that availability, so they are not available at my San Marcos office where I rent the space so please don't ask me to accommodate.

What forms of payment do you accept? In order to book an appointment we do require a card on file that is only charged at the end of the appointment. If at the end of the appointment you would like to pay with a different method we do accept all major credit cards, debit cards, exact cash (we do not carry change), venmo and zelle. 

Why can't I book at your Los Angeles location? 

This office is currently at capacity and has a waitlist. We do prioritize fertility patients, however, so please reach out to us via email to schedule.
